SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Upon arrival in Santiago de Compostela we started to visit the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. It is a Romanesque cathedral, belonging to the Archdiocese of the same name. Built between the years 1075 and 1128, during the Christian reconquest, at the time of the Crusades, is situated in the historic city center.
The Obradoiro Square is the main and most famous of city of Santiago de Compostela, capital of Galicia. In it stand out as emblematic buildings the Palace Raxoi, Hostel of the Catholic Monarchs and the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
